Let it pass. Haha!

Thanks a lot! I can't wait to use the sentences you've been teaching us!

By the way, we say:

"Porsi una domanda" and "Porre una domanda a qualcuno" not "Ponersi una domanda" or "Ponere una domanda a qualcuno"

Sorry, my prof. side took over

"Più" could mean:

"More"
Un elefante è più grande di un gatto
An elephant is bigger than a cat

"Anymore" (usu negative)
Non voglio più andare al mare
I don't want to go to the seaside anymore.

"Plus" (in science)

----------

Yes, the infinitive of the italian verbs are of three kinds:

Type I: -are
mangiare (to eat), camminare (to walk)

Type II: -ere, -arre, -orre, -urre
bere (to drink), vivere (to live), distrarre (to disctract), porre (to put - and more...), tradurre (to translate)

Type III: -ire
finire (to end), intuire (to guess)

The -arre, -orre, -urre forms are contractions from latin verbs ending in -ere anyway ;)
